COVE (Corbett J., 2011) Tet G166C-B (Bella Sera x Alexa Kathryn) Dor.,
MRe., 24 inch scape, 5.5 inch flower, 4 way branching 20 buds. I have
been waiting quite awhile to introduce this wonderful purple with
chartreuse edge. These past two years I have shown pictures of H.
ZEPHYR COVE at various speaking engagements and this one always gets
the “aahhhs.” H. ZEPHYR COVE is a rich clear purple with lighter blue
grey watermark and intense green throat. Being a hard dormant this
cultivar ought to do well for our daylily friends to the north. Easily
fertile both ways. |
